Hayley's Therapeutic Approach
Specialties: Eating disorders, ADHD, OCD, trauma, identity, anxiety, depression, grief, family and relationship issues, personality disorders, people pleasing, boundary setting, life transitions
Populations: Adults 18+, college students, parents, high achieving individuals Are you someone who finds yourself experiencing deep shame for who you are as a person? Often feeling like you need to be achieving more or eating “better” and struggling to feel like you are enough? These feelings are often a reflection of the impossible standards we’re taught to meet. I help people explore these pressures, understand where they come from, and begin to write a new story. So many people feel trapped by self-criticism, perfectionism, or the pressure to always be doing more. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, identify patterns, and learn to approach yourself with more kindness.
My style is collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in narrative therapy. I enjoy helping people reconnect with their values, practice self-compassion, and build lives that feel authentic. In therapy together, we will explore the stories that have shaped you and work toward creating new ones that feel empowering and aligned with who you truly are.
Hayley Outside of the Office
Outside of her work, Hayley loves seeing touring musicals in D.C., getting lost in a good book, caring for her plants, and cooking meals to share with friends and loved ones.
