Maeve’s Therapeutic Approach:
Do you ever feel like you’re doing everything “right” but still feel stuck or disconnected from yourself? Are you particularly sensitive to changes that don’t seem to bother others- like the temperature in a room or a shift in a partner's mood? Maybe you’re constantly second-guessing, overanalyzing, or trying to manage emotions that feel bigger than you can handle. Perhaps you’re navigating the ups and downs of OCD, struggling with self-esteem, or figuring out who you are in the midst of a major life transition. If this resonates, I’m really glad you’re here. Therapy can be a space to breathe, reflect, and rediscover what it means to feel at home with yourself.
I strive to create a space where you can show up authentically as yourself- even if you don’t know exactly where to start. I work with adults navigating self-esteem challenges, OCD, anger, and anxiety, as well as those experiencing shifts in identity, career, or relationships. My clients often describe themselves as highly sensitive, people pleasers, perfectionists, or highly anxious. In our work, you’ll have room to be real, messy, and curious about your experiences without judgment. My style is collaborative, relational, and grounded in genuine connection.
My approach is person-centered, practical, and rooted in empathy. I believe therapy is most effective when it feels like a human conversation — one where humor and honesty can coexist with deep emotional work. Together, we’ll explore patterns that keep you stuck and build skills for managing difficult emotions, setting boundaries, and creating lasting change. My goal is to help you feel supported, understood, and empowered to move toward the life you want.
Clinically, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices to help you recognize unhelpful thought patterns, regulate emotions, and cultivate self-compassion. I also have prior experience and training working with couples and relationship units, which informs my individual work by emphasizing the role of relationships—both with others and with oneself—in growth and healing. These approaches are woven into a person-centered, relational framework that honors your individuality and values. Together, we’ll explore what’s keeping you stuck, nurture self-understanding, and strengthen your capacity for compassion and connection.

Maeve Outside of the Office
When I’m not in the office, you can usually find me out on a local trail with my husband and our dog, soaking up some fresh air and sunshine. I’m also a big fan of a cozy night in with my favorite comfort shows—The Office and Golden Girls are my go-tos. I find a lot of peace in creative outlets like crafting or antiquing—the process of making something with your hands feels grounding and restorative, a reminder of how healing creativity can be. At the heart of my work, my goal is to help you reconnect with your strengths and move toward a life that feels more balanced, authentic, and fulfilling.
