Jessicas' Therapeutic Approach
As a wife and Mom to twin 16-year old boys who has managed her own marketing consulting practice for more than ten years, Jessica understands the feeling of being pulled in many directions at once. An empathetic listener and a creative person who brings humor and warmth to the therapy room, Jessica enjoys helping people unlock their potential in all areas of life.
Jessica believes that therapy is a safe space to explore childhood experiences and what you learned about yourself and how to relate to others, informs and affects your present. My integrative approach is tailored to your unique needs, drawing from evidence-based modalities including psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Jessica is committed to helping you identify and uncover if old patterns are still serving, and if not how to change them.
From a clinical perspective, Jessica is a person-centered therapist who enjoys working with adults struggling with ADHD, anxiety, stress, and bipolar or unipolar depression. She finds meaning helping people adjust to life’s big transitions like marriage, parenting, new motherhood, graduation, a new job, a recent or upcoming move, the loss of an important person or the end of a relationship, to name a few.
Jessica Outside of the Office
When she’s not driving her teenage sons around, Jessica enjoys reading, hiking with her nine-year-old yellow Lab, camping (glamping!), practicing yoga, working out, and spending time with family and loved ones.
