You don’t have to perform here.

Therapy with me is about unmasking, unpacking, and unapologetically taking up space as your full self. If you’ve spent most of your life feeling like you have to tone yourself down, over-explain, or reshape yourself to fit other people’s expectations, you’re not alone—and you’re not broken. You’re probably just tired. And I get it.

I specialize in working with clients who are LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, disabled, or otherwise used to navigating a world that wasn’t designed with them in mind. Many of the people I work with come in asking: Why am I so anxious when nothing is technically wrong? Why do I feel so disconnected even around people I love? Often, the answer lies in years of masking—hiding, softening, or editing yourself just to get by. It’s exhausting. It disrupts your sense of identity. And it can make even your closest relationships feel like hard work.

That’s why the therapeutic relationship itself matters so much. I show up to sessions as a real person—casual, warm, often humorous, and always validating. I self-disclose when it’s helpful, because I believe healing happens through genuine connection, not rigidity. This isn’t a space where you’ll be met with blank stares and vague nods. I engage fully and collaboratively—therapy is something we build together.

You’re the expert in your own life. My role isn’t to tell you who to be or what to do—it’s to walk beside you as you start to notice your patterns, clarify your values, and make choices that feel more aligned with who you really are. I bring clinical tools and perspective, but you bring your history, your wisdom, and your intuition. You already have the raw materials. We’ll work together to help you trust your voice more fully and show up more authentically in your life.

My clinical approach draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), DBT, and narrative therapy. These models help us explore how your thoughts, emotions, and personal history intersect—and how you can start making different choices that better reflect who you want to be. I also bring a trauma-informed lens to this work, and I am pursuing sex therapy certification through the Sexual Health Alliance. That means I’m especially passionate about working with clients around sexuality, gender identity, and relationships—including those exploring kink, non-monogamy, or other nontraditional experiences. You deserve a space where you don’t have to explain the basics or brace for judgment.

Before joining Resonate, I earned my MSW from the University of Maryland Baltimore, with a specialization in Behavioral Health. During my training, I completed a clinical internship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, supporting service members and their loved ones through complex trauma, reintegration, and identity shifts.

What I find most meaningful in therapy is when someone shows up without apologizing for themselves—when the work has created enough safety that a person starts speaking a little louder, laughing a little freer, or saying what they really want without cushioning it. You don’t have to be perfect to be worthy of care. You just have to be willing to show up.

If you’re looking for a therapist who will honor your full humanity—with curiosity, warmth, and the occasional sarcastic one-liner—I’d love to hear from you. Let’s build something real.

To the LGBTQ+, disabled, neurodivergent folks, and anyone else who has spent years shrinking, softening, or shape-shifting just to get by—I see you. I know how exhausting it is to feel like you have to perform just to be palatable. I know how easy it is to lose track of who you really are under all the layers of “acceptable.” You’re not too much. You’re not broken. You’re just tired, you might feel stuck. And I get it. You deserve a space where you don’t have to explain the basics, justify your existence, or apologize for being real. Therapy can be that space. Let’s take the mask off.
