Do you find yourself feeling consumed by your life’s circumstances? Do you feel misunderstood or like an outlier amongst those who you believe you should feel most connected to? Are others’ expectations holding you back? If you answered yes to these questions, I may be a good fit as your therapist because I can relate to where you’re at.

I know what it’s like to deal with high pressure situations. Growing up, I struggled to navigate an overly competitive school environment, which negatively impacted my own self-image, friendships, and relationships with adults. Feeling overwhelmed and conflicted by what I wanted and what others were telling me I should want, I found myself lost as I began college. My own experience in therapy helped me through those challenges. Now, as a therapist myself, I am ready to help you through times like these as well.

Whether you’re dealing with a high pressure cultural, religious, academic, athletic, gender role or occupational situation, I promise to lighten your load.

As a mental health provider, my goal is to foster a safe, non-judgmental space to help clients like you sort through their thoughts, feelings, and lived experiences. As your therapist, I will recognize and honor your identities, as well as the impact that they may have had on who you are, who you have been, and who you are becoming. I will help you understand what has made you think and feel the way you do, challenge negative beliefs, and take action so that you can live life on your terms.

I know from my own experiences that it can be difficult and daunting to find the perfect match in a clinician. So, I want you to know that no matter who you are or what your circumstances may be, I will help you feel understood and empowered.

To set up a free consultation, please reach out to me at 410-870-9676. In this consultation, we can discuss your current struggles, as well as logistics like payment and scheduling. I will also explain how my approach will work for you. If we decide to move forward, we will go ahead and schedule your first appointment.
