Meet Bailey

Bailey Taylor (she/her) is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) in Maryland. She earned her Master of Science in Clinical Professional Counseling from Loyola University Maryland in 2023, where she now teaches Social Psychology and Psychopathology as an Affiliate Professor.

She creates a warm, conversational space where teens and adults can feel supported and free to show up as their full selves. Bailey works with clients navigating anxiety, trauma/complex PTSD, ADHD, relationship patterns, and life transitions. She especially supports neurodivergent, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and Gen Z clients seeking a space where they can feel seen and understood without needing to filter or perform.

Her belief is that therapy should be relational, affirming, and grounded in real connection. Bailey draws from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic practices, attachment-based work, and person-centered care to support clients in deepening self-awareness, regulating their nervous systems, and reconnecting with their values and voice.

She brings curiosity, compassion, and authenticity to the work so clients feel safe to do the same. You deserve to take up space, be seen, and feel supported, just as you are.

Do you ever feel like you’ve been holding it together for everyone else, but it’s starting to catch up with you? Are you used to overexplaining, walking on eggshells, or reshaping yourself to make others comfortable? You might be navigating anxiety, ADHD, trauma, or relationship patterns that leave you feeling disconnected from yourself or others. If any of that resonates, I’m so glad you’re here. Therapy can be a place where you don’t have to carry it all alone.

I offer a space where you don’t have to earn your worth or explain why you’re struggling. I work with teens and adults who are navigating anxiety, questions of self-worth, or the lasting impact of relational wounds. Many of my clients are neurodivergent, empathic, or have moved through environments that didn’t affirm their emotions or identities. Some have been shaped by systems that made them feel unsafe or unseen, leading them to shrink, stay quiet, or take on more than they could hold. I’m especially passionate about supporting teens and young adults who are learning who they are beyond caretaking, rediscovering how to take up space without apology, and untangling the ways past relationships have shaped their sense of worth, safety, and belonging.

My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and grounded in deep trust. I bring curiosity, warmth, and a conversational style that makes room for creativity, humor, and reflection as we gently explore the patterns and emotions that have shaped your relationships and sense of self. Together, we will build coping tools to help you feel more grounded, self-compassionate, and emotionally resourced, especially when perfectionism or people-pleasing make it hard to rest or be gentle with yourself.

I draw from a creative and personalized blend of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic practices, person-centered care, and attachment theory through a trauma-informed lens. These techniques support reconnection with yourself and the creation of relationships that feel safe and nourishing. In session, that might look like learning how to regulate your nervous system, getting to know the protective parts of you, or untangling beliefs that once kept you safe but no longer serve you.

Bailey Outside of the Office

Outside of the office, you can usually find me hanging out with my dog Rosie, exploring a trail, teaching undergraduate psychology classes at Loyola, or diving into creative projects that help me reconnect with joy, self-expression, and play.
